Car Tax Address Change

Question: I have an apartment in NY and in PA how do I do my taxes?
ok so here is the deal I rent 2 apartments, one in the Poconos for my weekend getway and the other here in Staten Island NY. I just started a new job in NYC and I noticed on my Pay stub I get charged a NYC Resident Tax. Is there anyway to get rid of this, My car is registered to my PA address but I am living full time here in Staten Island. My questions is how will this affect my taxes can I tell my job to change my address to my PA one so that I am not charged a NY resident tax although I live here because I have my PA studio apartment as well.also when I file for taxes how will this work with my car being registered in PA and me living here although I do have residency out in PA. Please help
I know I have to pay NYC taxes i mean the NYC resident tax specifically
Also I just moved to Staten Island thats why im asking I know I will have to change my car over soon just havent had time toAnswer: As long as you have a home available to you in NYC, you are a resident of NY state and city. That means, even if you go to the Poconos every night after work, you would be considered a dual resident and would have to pay resident income taxes to New York. The law in New York is that if you are in the city or state over half of the year, then and you have a home available, then you are a resident. Pennsylvania would also consider you as a resident. In the worst cases I’ve dealt with, if you have Pennsylvania municipal bonds the interest on those bonds would be taxable to NY.
The New York City nonresident tax was abolished nearly 10 years ago.
I hope this helps.

Answer: Go to Tools -> Macro -> Security; change the setting to either “Medium” or “Low”; when in Medium when asked for enabling macros, say “Yes”.
Editorial: Transparency missing in tax reform panel
They are a group of, for the most part, academic economists and business leaders. So maybe it wouldn’t be surprising if members of the Special Council on Tax Reform and Fairness for Georgians weren’t especially knowledgeable regarding the state’s open meetings laws. As it turns out, though, the group, led by business executive A.D. Frazier, was only too familiar with laws regarding public access …
