Question: Is there a way to check if you got a income tax return?
Im young and my dad filed my income tax return for me. I was supposed to get like 200 bucks back or so I think but I don’t ever remember getting a check in the mail from uncle sam. Is there anyway to check or not? I didn’t keep a record so thats why im asking.
Answer: When did you dad filed your tax return and for which year.
For 2008, you can not file till you get W2 from employer.

I submitted ITR 4 E-return after digitally signing it. I recd an acknowedgment but I am not sure whether it has been submitted properly, i.e whether the acknowledgment recd is proper . Can anyone forward me a sample copy of an E-acknowledgment for E-Filing.

Click on my account and select My Returns options and then select the assessment year.
If you click on View details against the return filed by you, you can view the acknowledgement of the return filed.
