As I heard April 18th, 2011 I could’ve used a form but for late filing another form… i am confused? I’d like to e-file… thanks alot.
Answer: No efile of prior year 2009 income tax return to the IRS is allowed.
Get the paper copies and fill them out make 2 copies 1 for your records and and 1 to sign and mail to the correct IRS address.
Or you may be able to find some 2009 income tax software programs online that you can use to prepare your 2009 income tax return with and pay for it and print the copies that you would need for this purpose.
Only the tax year 2010 income tax return for the 2011 income tax filing season can be efiled to the correct IRS address.
April 18, 2011 is the filing deadline for the 2010 income tax return tax year to pay any amount of income tax taxes that you would owe for the 2010 tax year along with the income tax return for the 2010 tax year.

Question: Can i still file my late taxes online?
Can i still file my late taxes online? And if so, what is a good website that has easy steps to file late taxes? I want to file my 2007 & 2008 tax returns.
I was also wondering how long it takes to get your money if your send it straight to an account.
Any help will be appreciated!!Answer: 2007 No
2008 YesThe deadline for electronically filing CURRENT year returns is October 15th (or the next business day if it falls on a Saturday or holiday).
**** It doesn’t matter if you got an extension or not, you can still file electronically up to the final deadline. If you did not file an extension, you could incur a late filing penalty; the IRS would bill you for it.
After that, you must file a paper return.
Once processed and accepted, refunds that are direct deposited clear within days.

Question: I am an American citizen and worked in Australia in 2002/2003, is it too late to file a tax return?
Would I have to contact my employers from that time to get tax information, like how much I payed and would they even have those records from 7 years ago?
Answer: Your employers will still be able to provide you with copies of your payment summary. The payment summary is the statement employers provide that lists the income you earned and the tax that was deducted. Give them a call or write to them and they should be able to provide this for you.
Your tax return can be filed on a paper form. To get a copy of the form, you will need to call the tax office. International callers can contact the Tax Office by phoning +61 2 6216 1111 between the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time or daylight-saving time) and ask for your call to be transferred to Personal Tax.
They probably wont be able to get a form for you from 2002/03, but they can provide you with a current form. If this happens, you will need to cross out any reference to the current financial year and write 2002/03 instead.
