Question: Can I get a partial refund or change my flight destinations once I have booked?
I recently booked return flights to Quebec in Canada from London Heathrow for January next year. The flights go from Heathrow to Paris (Air France) and then from Paris to Montreal (Air Canada) and finally from Montreal to Quebec (Air Canada). My circumstances have changed and I now no longer need to go to Quebec! I was wondering if there is anything I can do to get a partial refund or at worse change the destination of my flights? I have economy flights booked and am quite sure that I cannot have a refund but it has cost me £500 and i’d like it not to go to waste! Someone mentioned to me that I may be able to change the destination of my flights? I’d like a refund but really can’t see myself getting any money back unless it’s the tax on the flights? Can anyone help please!!!!
Answer: It Depends on the policy of the company you book with and how flexible your ticket is. If you booked the tickets separately then call air canada if not call whoever you booked with.
P.s call as soon as you can as the later you leave it the less likely you will get anything
Toronto leads the way on Late Tax Filing
Procrastination is a word Toronto apparently know well – around tax time. Toronto leads the way in the number of people who filed their taxes electronically on the last day possible in 2010, according to numbers released Tuesday by Intuit, makers of the popular Turbo Tax software.
