Question: I filed Tax Returns online through TaxActonline Is it mandatory to send 8453-OL to IRS will it stop my refund?
When I filed my tax returns through taxact..I asked for direct deposit but I haven’t got the date when direct deposit will be made..Do I need to send 8453-OL to get my refund date?
Answer: Go to IRS website irs.gov and go to
Wheres my refund, if there is a problem
it will tell you there. It shows when
direct deposit dates. And if the form
8453 printed out, please send it out
inmmediately. Its just a form request for
them to verify your identity online when you
efiled.
