Question: If Im filing my taxes married jointly do both me and my wife have to file a return Or just one claim the other
My wife filed us as joint married, Do i need to file a return as well under joint married? I ask because when I try to file my federal as married jointly it tells me that I have already filed.
Answer: Just one tax return is required and both your incomes are included in a Joint Return.
